For those wondering, the word ” date night” is defined as a prearranged occasion for an established couple to spend or go out on a night together. I personally believe that trying to incorporate date nights regularly is a crucial part of a committed relationship. It is always nice to get out without the distractions of home, work and more. It’s also always nice to dress up. I regularly dress in business causal attire to work and barely wear jewellery or makeup. On weekends I tend to wear causal clothes to run errands. However, taking some time for yourself is never a bad thing which includes getting dressed up and enjoying the day or evening.
For my get dressed up and go somewhere fancy date night look I was able to pull out all the stops that I would not normally do. I decided to pair this floral dress with some tassel accessories and strappy heels.
A night on the town is not always a feasible option for most couples if they plan to remain consistent with their date nights. However, effort should be made to try to carve out a set amount of time doing something both people enjoy.
Here are 5 inexpensive date night ideas:
1. Volunteer somewhere together
2. Look in your local paper for free events, festivities, etc.
3. Try a fun activity together ex. mini-golf, bowling, paint nights, go carting. Many coupon sites always have discounts on these activities
